Welcome to my humble abode I’ll show you a little bit more It’s too hot for philosophy baby Come closer, I’m not ready to fold Have a sip, the night’s yours to drink It will turn you right on If you long to find infinity Close your eyes and let go Make your move, I’m queen of the game Your wild protector, keep you safe My ruby palace is for you alone I am the riddle to be solved I have a story to tell you boy A tale of lust and deceit Now is the time to stop pretending Our music’s hard, don’t resist There’s a feeling stuck in your head You try to fight it… be my guest One step away and you could lose it all No time for romance, now you’re my pawn

Be a Man 04:53
How can you act insanely when others try to correct you? And everybody blames you When you believe in nothin’ and no one believes in you Forgive yourself, but no one else… screw you Never letting go of the evil you wanna score One lie leads to a thousand more Is it fun to hate, to always be the know-it-all To always be the good guy, you should know Never dream only eat Never contemplate only calculate Be the winner’s leech than the loser’s reach Yet shamelessly betray them both Your every lie is the truth to others Your devilish words spread out like thunders Wish to deceit us foolish people Never fucking stop, never fucking stop If everything you’ve won you wish to multiply You’d like to chance your home Just tell me now, is getting paid the one thing right? Refuse to give one dime you owe? Your heart, your nerves, your mind have grown in sin You force yourself again to take everything in Always bending down, always standing in-between Though others cry “go on!”, “turn back!” you scream You don’t care for friends or foes Never loved a man, always were scum Is your soul calm when you cause harm? Never left a chance to hurt go by Deny the rabble but bow down when opposed to the mighty This lovely World is yours No shit you are a great Master But who would ever call you a Man? Who would ever call you a Man?

I said damn! All I wanted was some fun Melting on, flying closer to the sun Go take care but beware, everything falls apart over there Feel the heat on my wings, no control, no one else in the air I didn’t know I was supposed to lose I should be scared but the clouds were sparkling jewels There’s nothing left for me to see The craftsman’s tears were falling over me I said damn! If I only wasn’t close Then my thrill turned to ashes and remorse Don’t look down, screw the waves, just believe I am tougher than thou Freedom lies in the skies, all we need to depend on is us
4.
They weren’t so few the years I spent trying to find The rules of life ‘n’ I saw that it would be a crime To strive for reason, to reach and find the law of knife It’s getting heavy this earth when you don’t defy You say I am a saboteur of progress But, sure enough, you’ve never tasted poverty Where there’s no choice, there ain’t gonna be no change There’s only grief and sadness, and we’re their prey My loving sweatshop, my only home The wheels are turning, I’m discarded by all Dead serious, paralyzed and soaked I’m sick of holding onto hope It seems we have a long way to go before The tide has turned, the world has changed, perish the thought! Takes one to see one, how much money do you need? Injustice strikes my heart ’cause they need to feed Speaking the truth, I might have burst your lullaby My desert lies ahead; you’ll find it in the crowd Ungrateful prick... How could you bear the debt of flesh? How could you pay, how would you pay the price of death, how would you pay? My loving sweatshop, my very soul Still on my feet, against all odds Feels like I’m running, feels like I’m moving along My part ain’t over, I’m poised to the core

One Way 03:37
The only way I know to work my demons out Is jukin’ by the piano stomping all around Hoping to do better than the ones before Baby hit that chord Oh honey do it, hit that chord Oh baby try it, bend it some more Cut across all boundaries, play around Oh baby push it, there’s your sound I tell ya, what you thought is old is new again Singing awesome music, that’s what makes me burn Should I trust my instinct, just let me know That’s the way to go Oh honey do it, hit that chord Oh baby try it, bend it some more Mamma’s dingy screaming, that’s the way to go Oh honey try it, give me more Keep on grooving slick boy Work my demons out It’s just a feeling, yeah! You better lean in, yeah! ’Cause you know When you groove the party is on When life gets you cornered there’s one way out Away from all my burdens now the music’s loud Sliding on the keyboard, hey Gee play around That’s what’s all about Oh honey do it, hit that chord Oh baby try it, bend it some more Oh baby push it, do your thing I need your rugged tunes to break off my routine

Workin' Dead 05:17
Rise of the workin’ dead, through the subway holes they come Godless lurkers, smudged faces, just a bunch of fucked-up cases Traffic lights control their breath, feasting on each other’s youth Roaches crawling, wasted days; sirens howling, paid-up lays And I’m a-shouting for the workin’ dead Scoring their jowls down the asphalt swamps And I’m one among the workin’ dead In our life and death we never had a chance And I’m a-shouting for the workin’ dead Gritting their teeth against the building walls And I’m one among the workin’ dead Crazy symptoms of a time in suspense Strangers in the paved veins devoured by greed, urban decay Stories waiting to be told, all the tears within they hold My man had to go with them; slaving away, mine never again Oooh his eyes as he saw them, the city is their horrid den
7.
I saw him He was walking in the rain Barefoot out there in the dark Life was almost lost in vain He was left alone at last Then he said, I used to sell my soul every morning And my heart, my poor ol’ heart, was torn into pieces I was empty... Barely living... I was empty Moving deeper in the woods The silver sky embraces us That cigarette we shared was his He touched the guitar strings and smiled Then he said, for once I felt the music through me Escaped I have but rest assured, I know tomorrow Come tomorrow... I’ll emerge and fight... Then he began to dance... Now I got a stone that rolls as my mojo And a big black crow sitting on my shoulder My life has become an endless journey Lucky me, nothing can touch me I saw him

City Girls 04:30
Look at them city girls how do they twirl Look at their dark skin glowing in the night Listen to their voices, so warm when they holler Smashing the red lights, so unique and plain Once they love you; then they’re gone Oh how they roar down the streets Aggressive and mean In battle redeemed Clay moon on top, shadows on all forms Their compass lost, see them gals break all codes Just hear their swan song, brings tears to my eyes Fighting for their strained lives Look at them city girls with all their charm Their angry, mad gaze right in your heart Their fate was stolen, but now there’s a cause The curtain rises, scream and applause Bodies shaking, bodies aching Try if you can to look away Another velvet dream before you Another dream that went astray Now see my girls look out here they come With all their loving gotta see them run Always being hungry, never giving up on life Always taking chances, never holding back Says I one, two, three, When my city girls hold hands then you know you gotta set them free Will I ever wake up, to tell similar from same Shouldn’t be afraid to see the dreaded show Not another game, all my girls have a name Explosive bravery like you’ve never seen before
9.
Nobody told you that life’s all gamble But now it’s time to toss the dice You were high now you’re down, crawl on the ground It’s time to pay you fuckin’ clown Hogs and banks steal my life, but tonight I’ll be watching as you burn in fire You’ve had your time, you had the power You’ve had your fun, with lots of powder I am a drifter, I am a shifter You know I am a no good son of a bitch No point in trying, the dice are bouncing You lost your chance to leave this feast I’ve seen you drive around in your shiny, fast car Just to get stuck in a traffic jam I’ve seen that plastic, easy chick you seem to fuck... You call that love? Ι just don’t care about your big, fat family tree Your world means absolutely nothing to me No money left, now where’s your novocaine? Let’s hope to see you spent, insane I am a drifter, I am a shifter You know I am a no good son of a bitch Your lying is over; no guile, no cover I only need to kill your bliss
